On a recent episode of Pardon My Take, host Dan Katz pointed to the spring football league as a prime example of a competitor forcing the NFL to improve its product. "Yeah, it's kinda like what, you know, we're big football fans. Like, the, the XFL, when it came on the scene, like, the NFL took some stuff from the XFL. Like, they got, you know, the, the spider cam and whatever. Like, there was things that were adapted. It's like, yeah, okay, the NFL got better from it," Katz noted.
