Tim Dillon was recently targeted by a sophisticated podcast booking scam. On The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan detailed how scammers tried to steal the comedian's bank details by offering a spot on a fake celebrity show. Rogan noted that "they tried to get him on, uh, Amy Poehler's show" as bait. Warning other creators about these fraudulent bookings, Rogan added that "it's probably not Anna Faris or Amy Poehler or Tim Dillon or any of those other people. It's all bullshit."
Away from the scam warnings, other hosts are busy casting Tim Dillon in their dream lineups. On Bad Friends, Bobby Lee shared his pitch for an ultimate comedy showcase, proposing a powerhouse group of "Andrew, me, Tim Dillon, and Bert Kreischer" for an episode of Comics Unleashed.
Meanwhile, Bert Kreischer is already planning for the end of the road. On 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Kreischer told co-host Tom Segura that he would absolutely attend Dillon's funeral because "It's gonna be catered amazingly" and would actually be a good time. Whether Dillon is dodging booking scams or planning high-end funeral menus, he remains one of the most talked-about figures in the comedy scene.
