NFL legend Terry Bradshaw joined Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience this week, spending a significant portion of the episode singing the praises of his longtime broadcasting partner Howie Long. Bradshaw told the host, "you never had Howie on? The Howie's amazing."
During the interview, Bradshaw detailed how Long walked away from a budding Hollywood acting career in the 1990s to prioritize his family, relocating to Virginia instead of staying in California. As Bradshaw recounted, "Howie was voted the up-and-coming star, and he had these three young kids, and he says, 'I don't want to raise my kids in LA.'"
Bradshaw also opened up about their tight-knit bond on the NFL on FOX set, though he couldn't resist throwing some friendly shade at their different educational backgrounds. "Howie is, is, is my best friend on the show, without question. I mean, we are, we are so different. He went to Villanova. I went to an engineering school at Louisiana Tech. I got a college degree. Howie, I'm sorry, he didn't graduate."
With Bradshaw making a passionate case for his partner's charm, the ball is now in Rogan's court to book the Hall of Fame defensive lineman. Whether Rogan takes the cue and brings Long on the show remains to be seen, but fans of the Sunday pregame show are already eager to see the two sit down.
