Andrew Hunter Murray has officially released his new comedic crime thriller novel, Bad Deeds, a sequel to his previous book Breaking and Entering. On No Such Thing As A Fish, co-host Anna Ptaszynski admitted the novel has completely taken over her sleep schedule, calling it "so annoying because it's kept me up extremely late every night for the last seven days."
Ptaszynski emphasized that readers do not need to be familiar with the first installment to enjoy this new release, describing it as a "brilliant standalone book" that functions as an "absolute page-turner." She praised the balance of high-stakes suspense and humor, noting that the narrative is packed with Murray's trademark wit.
The cinematic pacing of the story also stood out during the discussion, with Ptaszynski noting, "I felt like I was watching an action film for parts." While other literary podcasts have yet to offer contrasting reviews, the glowing reception from Murray's own circle sets a very high bar as the thriller begins circulating widely among crime fiction fans.
